The mission of the Latin American Tennis Foundation (LATF) is to represent, enhance, and provide equal opportunity to Latin tennis players of all ages

About LATF

Founded by former Latin tennis champion, Rosie Casals and family members of tennis pro, Pancho Gonzalez, LATF offers opportunities to Latin Americans of all ages. Latino leaders in the U.S. tennis space provide high performance training and scholarships to junior competitors who qualify through an application process. Scholarships support coaching, equipment and tournament costs. Additionally, LATF offers educational and mentor programs, tennis clinics, competitive tournaments, and community events in partnership with other Latino-focused community organizations to grow awareness of the sport among the Latin American community.

We are thrilled to announce the addition of Latin American tennis great Charlie Pasarell and athletic trainer Connie Spooner to the Board of Directors!

A Message From LATF President, Rosie Casals

The LATF was established because of the lack of quality, high profile organizations representing Latino tennis players and their needs. Through the efforts of my Love & Love Tennis Foundation and by working with many underserved Latino community members in Coachella Valley, I realized more needs to be done in raising awareness and money to provide tennis to these kids who only know about soccer and other team sports. I've built a strong relationship with the Pancho Gonzalez Foundation; hosting tennis clinics for Hispanic Heritage Month and collaborating on additional ideas to elevate and support Latinos in the sport. Greg & Dan Gonzales and I have talked about the need to have all Latinos under one big umbrella organization - Imagine what we can do together!

I look forward to working with the Pancho Foundation, Greg & Dan and our other Board members as we start to build our foundation for future Latinos & Tennis!
